Determine whether the foundation of the support structure has adequate mass and strength to allow the machine to operate in an equilibrium state. Regular operating forces generate anomalous vibration levels due to a lack of mass or stability, lowering usable life and increasing maintenance frequency.

Electrical Mechanical De-Installations & Re-Installations

We can mount some machines on a mezzanine. These machines do not usually have suitable support structures. Direct mounting on concrete or deck plate flooring causes resonance. Regular operating forces are transmitted directly into the floor, acting as a soundboard, and amplifying these energies. These amplified energies only result in higher-than-normal noise levels in the best case. They often coincide with one or more inherent frequencies of the equipment or foundation, causing significant, long-term issues.

Decommissioning & Recommissioning

Our team secures the machine to its foundation with anchor bolts. The application of correct procedures enables rigid, long-lasting part-to-part mating. When we anchor machines to a concrete foundation, we fix j-bolts into the concrete as we pour it—size bolts to ensure adequate holding torque and prevent them from loosening over time. When selecting the bolt grade, exercise care and determine what mounting pattern we will use to lock mounting plates to the foundation. We do not use hydraulic concrete and straight mounting bolts because these bolts tend to loosen with time.
